gettin' ready for the road...

We're two friends starting on a road trip for the month of July, we leave friday morning to explore eight states in twenty days. We're in the midst of reading travel books on Yellowstone, compiling lists of what should be included in the (extensive) first aid kit and practicing setting up the tent... well, we'll get to that. Can't wait to share this adventure with you.

So, "friends" is a relative term, but since I'm stuck with this kid for a couple of days, and will probably need her assistance in various fields (her experience with a band aid is pretty extensive, and I'm not sure I'll be able to chat up the boys next door to "help" us pitch our tent quite as well...), I guess I'll roll with some inadequate vocab. Just so you know, I really wanted to call the blog "Looking for the honey." Cute, right? Yeah, I know.
